This is my third order and it has always been neatly packed and delivered. The stew is tasty as well!

I recently placed an order for Efo-riro, chicken stew, and Jollof rice for my elderly father, which was delivered to his home.
Overall, he wasn’t very satisfied with the meal. In particular, the chicken stew was disappointing—the chicken was quite soft and seemed only boiled, which affected both the texture and flavour. He didn’t enjoy it.
The Efo-riro and Jollof rice were better, but he still wasn’t particularly pleased with them, although he didn’t specify exactly what was lacking.
Given that this was meant to be a comforting and enjoyable meal for him, it was disappointing.
Additionally, the delivery experience was not ideal. The expected delivery window was between 10:00am and 12:05pm, but the order didn’t arrive until 4:59pm. This caused significant inconvenience, as my father had to cancel his plans while waiting. I understand delivery may be handled separately, but I wanted to highlight the impact this had on the overall experience.

Regarding the chicken stew, we’d like to clarify that the chicken used in that dish is a softer type by nature. Our preparation process typically involves boiling the chicken first and then frying it, so it’s not solely boiled. However, we understand that texture preferences can vary, and we regret that it didn’t appeal to him.
We’re also glad to hear that the Efo-riro and Jollof rice were somewhat better received, but we’re concerned that they still fell short overall. If possible, we would really value more detail on what exactly was lacking, as this would help us improve both the taste and overall experience.
With respect to the delivery delay, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. While delivery is handled by a third-party service and we unfortunately don’t have direct control over exact delivery times, we fully understand the impact this had—especially given your father had to adjust his plans while waiting.
